The Preceram Group companies Argex, Gyptec and Preceram took part in Tektónica 2014. The various initiatives of the companies were an indisputable contribution to boosting the event, which took place between 6 and 10 May, at the FIL – Lisbon International Fair.

The use of ARGEX expanded clay enables the fast drainage of excessive water due to the small gaps between the clay pellets, preventing the water from accumulating in the substrate, which helps the plant roots to breathe.

Argex – Argila Expandida, S.A., belongs to the Preceram Group, which has been dedicated to the production of expanded clay since 2002, mainly for Portugal and Spain.
Our facilities are in central Portugal, near Aveiro, and are served by a road network that provides easy access. We are close to the port of Aveiro, which allows us to ship large quantities of expanded clay all over the world by sea.

Preceram made news on the Ovo de Colombo show by Portuguese news channel SIC Notícias, the aim of which was to reveal the most innovative products and services developed in Portugal. The programme showed Preceram, in partnership with the School of Science Technologies of the University of Coimbra, under the programme of incentives from the Portuguese Innovation Agency (ADI in the original Portuguese), developing thermal bricks that are structurally more resistant.
